From April 12 - May 24, our teaching journey will explore the theological and cultural realities of a world created by a migrant God who guides a migrant people with a migrant Gospel. This journey will be supplemented by a 7-week Circle and an Open Door trip to the Mexico/US Border hosted by The Global Immersion Project (This upcoming trip is full, but email Dave if you're interested in future trips).
This journey will recognize that immigration is a pressing issue facing us today, but will also invite us beyond seeing immigration as crisis and framing immigration as both a reality to be understood and opportunity for faithfulness and formation.
Throughout the journey, we'll explore theological as well as socio-political realities, highlight local opportunities for engagement into the heart of work being done in our backyards to care well for those whose stories are shaped by immigration, and recognize the many ways that each of our stories is shaped by the global realities of immigration.
Join us for the journey!
