The spiritual life is,
first of all a matter
of keeping awake.
On Sunday we re-entered our journey through Mark's Story of Jesus, looking at the strange and difficult words of Jesus in Mark 13. The disciples have all kinds of questions about the end of the world; Jesus doesn't give them a straight answer but instead continues to invite them into a way of living with trust and assurance even when the world is collapsing around them.
We'll continue this journey through Easter when we'll wrap up our exploration of Mark's Gospel.
If you missed any part of our previous journey, Forging Friendship, listen to them online on our podcast.
