Open Door Pulse | After Easter

Jesus has forced open
a door that has been locked
since the death of the first human.

He has met, fought, and beaten
the King of Death.

Everything is different
because He has done so.
— C.S. Lewis

This Week

This past week we have pondered, engaged with, and celebrated the Easter story in multiple ways; from our Good Friday Passion Sojourn, to the EARLY sunrise hike, to a joyful evening gathering complete with egg hunt. As we conclude Holy Week, the words of Mark 16:5-6 reverberate in our hearts:

When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a white robe sitting on the right side. The women were shocked, but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead!"

and we:

Remember not to be afraid.
Remember the power of the resurrection.
Remember the invitation of Jesus.

Join us next week as we start our newest learning journey!

Just a reminder that our gatherings now start at 4:30pm!
