Over the past couple of weeks, I've had several people ask me what I'm reading this year. Reading diverse, global authors is a practice that I've been engaged in for the past six years...its a practice that has pushed my thinking and informed my living in palpable ways. So, in this post, I offer a reading list of 12 books (one per month) to supplement your own reading this year. The books I offer are written by local, national, and global authors (past and present, faith-based and non-faith-based) who are asking great questions about God, living the God-Life, discipleship, and leadership. You will also notice that each book (except for January's book, The Prodigal God by Tim Keller) is accompanied by a discussion date that I will host in an effort to guide us deeper into life lived informed by our learning. Looking forward to reading, learning, and living with you!
